“Kordan” is the name of this beautiful region with a pleasant climate. The city of Kordan is located 25 km from Karaj and 65 km west of Tehran. The facade of this tower is made of brick and has a circular solar plan and is built on a circular platform with a diameter of 8 meters. The tower also has a dome and archaeologists attribute it to the Seljuk period. Some people say that this building is the tomb of Imamzadeh Hussein (AS) — a descendant of Imam Sajjad (AS) — and for this reason many people go there for pilgrimage. The old bridge of Bano Sahra Kordan, which is located two kilometers northwest of this village, is another ancient Kurdish monument that was built in the Safavid period and only two pillars and part of its arches remain. To see this bridge, you have to go through Valian village. Kordan Bridge has a large and large span and a small span and is made of stone, brick and lime mortar.
But to access the green village of Kordan with this number of natural and historical attractions, you must first reach Karaj and from there continue the Qazvin freeway. After passing less than 20 km, you will encounter the exit sign of Kordan, and after leaving and entering a rural road, you will find yourself in the heart of one of the paradises on earth, just after walking a few kilometers.
